Celebrate the arrival of 2012 with a spectacular night of family-friendly fun in Northbridge. Entertainment kicks off at 7pm with family activities on the Northbridge Piazza and colourful roving street performers on James and Lake Streets. Why not watch them while enjoying some alfresco dining at one of Northbridge’s many restaurants? From 8pm three big stages start pumping out tunes that are guaranteed to get you dancing. It’s all brought to you by City of Perth.

There will be extended alfresco dining outside all your favourite Northbridge restaurants from 6pm as traffic along James Street and surrounding areas makes way for a fun, family-friendly pedestrian mall. And if you want to party into the wee hours, Northbridge has an amazing variety of nightspots to suit every celebratory style.

BIG BAND STAGE - Northbridge Piazza

9pm – The Big Band Experience
Picture a 17+ piece Big-Band, immaculately presented and delivering a powerhouse package of glamour, elegance and excitement – and you come close to imagining just what the Big Band is all about!

10.30pm – Fliptease
See aerial artists, acrobats, jugglers, stilt characters and aerial installations take flight to wow the senses and challenge the laws of physics!

11:00pm – Variety Performances
Members of the Sugar Blue Burlesque Troupe will take to the stage to entertain the crowd between acts. Featuring magicians, hula hoop divas, dancers and more.

11.10pm – The Sugar Blue Variety Spectacular!
The show will include dazzling acts from acrobats, dancers, singers plus spectacular feats from the best event entertainment in Perth.

12.00am – Countdown Spectacular
The countdown spectacle for both stages will have the crowd wowing with delight. featuring pyrotechnics, fire cannons and silver ticker tape to fill the sky.
