Northbridge new small bar, Mechanics’ Institute, is winning hearts thanks to its $14 ever changing cocktail list and burgers for around $13.

Mechanics’ Institute is the brainchild of locals Hamish Fleming and Siobhan Blumann, owners of Mrs Brown – a popular North Fremantle small bar that welcomes patrons to bring in take-away burgers from the neighbouring Flipside (which Hamish and Siobhan own this too).

The same burgers-and-cocktails concept is working for them at Mechanics’ Institute - the bar sits above the new Flipside on William Street.

The 120-seat venue is a cool place to hang out with friends and it wont send you broke! It's about fair prices and quality cocktails.
